The tragic death of George Floyd has done so much to increase our awareness of the world around us and the need to teach and fight back against racism and inequality. From the beginning of our company, whether it be in our children’s programs or our regional shows, we have embraced and exampled diversity in all forms.
Embracing diversity and equality is a part of our core values.
We have had a few people ask where we stand as a company concerning the most recent events in America. So please allow me to be completely clear:
CALIFORNIA REGIONAL THEATRE STANDS BEHIND OUR BIPOC COMMUNITY AND BELIEVES BLACK LIVES MATTER. ANY FORM OF DISCRIMINATION IS WRONG AND HAS NO PLACE IN OUR COMPANY OR COMMUNITY.
As a company, we promise to use this time to continue to educate ourselves and the next generation, to listen, and to take action in a positive way to fight against inequality and racism.
